Aligra are recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable Van Driver to deliver frozen meals directly to customers’ houses around Portbury and surrounding areas. Starting at 7am, you’ll be responsible for making 30-40 drops daily, maintaining excellent customer service and adhering to delivery schedules. If you’re organised, punctual and enjoy being on the road, this role could be perfect for you.

Key responsibilities:
- Safely drive a company van to deliver frozen meals to residential addresses
- Complete approximately 30-40 drops daily, adhering to the planned route and schedule
- Handle frozen products carefully, ensuring they remain in optimum condition
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures where necessary
- Communicate effectively with the operations team regarding delivery issues or delays
- Conduct basic vehicle checks before each shift to ensure safety and reliability
- Uphold company standards for customer service at every delivery point
Requirements:
- Valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record
- DBS check required due to customer-facing nature of the role
- Ability to start work at 7am with flexibility for shift arrangements
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Experience with delivery driving, ideally with frozen or perishable goods
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
