HGV Class 2 Driver – Food Delivery | Yate (Bristol Area)
Are you an HGV Class 2 driver, either experienced or a new pass looking for your next opportunity? Join a trusted client delivering essential food boxes and parcels across the Bristol area, including Yate. This role offers a varied and rewarding driving experience, with 4-10 drops per shift to restaurants and care homes, giving you a chance to be a vital part of the local community’s supply chain.
As a Class 2 driver, you’ll be operating a tail lift, performing handball duties, and supporting other tasks as needed. If you enjoy driving, being on the move, and engaging with customers, this could be the perfect role for you.

Your key responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class 2 lorry, delivering food boxes and parcels to restaurants, care homes, and other local businesses
- Manage 4-10 delivery drops per shift, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
- Operate the tail lift efficiently and safely to handle goods during loading/unloading
- Perform handball duties including assisting with the movement and packing of boxes as required
- Maintain daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately and maintain excellent communication with dispatch and customers
- Assist with other duties as directed to support smooth operations
Shift pattern (rotational shifts):
Week 1: Saturday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday
What we’re looking for:
- Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence with a clean driving record
- Experience delivering food or parcels in a Class 2 vehicle preferred
- Comfortable operating tail lifts and performing manual handling tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
- Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent communication
