Key responsibilities:
- Safely driving refuse collection vehicles on designated routes across Bristol and South Gloucestershire
- Collecting household recycling including plastic, cardboard and other materials
- Assisting loaders with manual handling and kerbside collections
- Maintaining a clean and safe vehicle throughout the shift
- Following health and safety guidelines to keep yourself and others safe
- Working occasional Saturdays over the Christmas period
Requirements:
- Valid driving licence suitable for refuse vehicles
- Previous experience as refuse driver or kerbside loader is desirable but not essential
- Ability to start early and physically support manual collection duties
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
- Flexible to work occasional Saturdays during Christmas
