Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our client’s warehouse team as a Warehouse Admin in Hinckley, the site will be moving to Coventry after weeks. As a Warehouse Admin, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and efficient management of inbound and outbound processes. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking for a challenging role with plenty of growth potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all inbound activities, including receiving goods, checking against delivery notes, and updating the system inventory.
  • Accurately label and store inbound goods in designated locations within the warehouse.
    Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure timely and accurate picking and packing of orders for dispatch.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular stock checks, investigating discrepancies, and updating the system accordingly.
  • Prepare and generate reports on stock levels, order fulfilment, and other relevant metrics as required.
  • Liaise with suppliers and transport companies to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Provide administrative support to the warehouse team, including data entry, filing, and document management.
  • Assist in conducting regular audits to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and quality requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar warehouse administration or logistics role.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficient in using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a warehouse environment.
  • A proactive and positive attitude, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
