We are actively looking for a Production Operative to be trained on various machinery to join our client in Calne who will look to train you in sheet metal fabrication, welding and CNC machining.
This would ideally suit a candidate who is keen to learn, progress and work hard! Work ethic and reliability is absolutely paramount to this position and we are looking for the right candidate for a long career with the company.
Key Duties:
To be trained in various machinery, including all welding processes (both TIG and MIG) confidently and precisely.
Assemble components accurately and efficiently according to specifications.
Trained to operate workshop machinery, including press brakes, guillotines, rolls, and bandsaws.
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Being hands on as you learn and support all other areas of the business during their training period
Always adhering to site health and safety requirements.
Job Requirements:
A confident manner and positive attitude.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Previous experience in production is advantageous but not essential
Forward thinking.
Eye for detail.
Pay:
Hourly pay – £12.21 per hour (paid weekly)
Shifts:
Monday to Thursday – 07:30 to 16:30
Friday – 07:30 to 12:30
