Pay & Shifts:
- From £14.82 per hour (£592 per week)
- Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
- Shift flexibility initially required due to training
Key responsibilities include:
- Adhering to strict food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures, including CCPs and GMPs
- Carrying out start-up checks such as machine and temperature verification and documentation
- Following production records and recipes with attention to quality control
- Ensuring accurate filling, capping, storage, and stock rotation
- Operating authorised machinery safely and maintaining clean work areas
- Assisting with weekly clean downs, stock takes, and supporting other departments
- Reporting any food safety concerns or machinery issues promptly
What we’re looking for:
- Level 2 HACCP food safety training (or above), including allergen awareness
- Experience in a food production or cook role within a manufacturing setting
- Strong commitment to hygiene and safety standards
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
