Pay & Shift:
- £14.82 per hour (£592.80 per week based on 40 hours)
- Monday to Friday
- Early Shift: 04:30am to 13:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate fork lift trucks safely and complete daily equipment checks
- Receive, store and manage stock including allergens, chilled, frozen and raw ingredients following strict food safety and labelling standards
- Ensure all goods are correctly dated, labelled, sealed and palletised for dispatch
- Complete all dispatch documentation accurately and meet daily shipping targets
- Maintain cleanliness, safety and hygiene standards throughout the warehouse and production support areas
- Report any machinery faults, safety hazards or site damage promptly to supervisory staff
- Assist with regular stock takes, warehouse cleaning and supporting other departments when needed
- Adhere to all HACCP and safety protocols, ensuring full traceability and stock rotation
Requirements:
- Forklift truck licence (Flexi/Bendi) is essential.
- Fork lift truck licence (Counterbalance) is beneficial.
- Basic food safety knowledge or willingness to undertake training.
- Strong attention to detail with ability to follow procedures accurately.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Flexible, reliable and committed to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
