Job Duties:
- Accurately and efficiently dismantle vehicles in preparation for repair work, ensuring all parts are stored and logged correctly.
- Assess damage and identify parts that can be salvaged or require ordering.
- Re-assemble vehicles post-repair, ensuring that all components are fitted correctly and function properly.
- Work closely with other technicians to ensure that mechanical, electrical, and trim-related components are fitted to the highest standards.
- Ensure all work is completed within manufacturer guidelines and operational procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven track record as a Strip Fitter/MET Technician in the automotive industry.
- NVQ Level 3 in Body Repair, Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification is desirable.
- The ability to work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A full, valid UK driving licence.
Pay Rate:
- £15.00 – £20.00 Per Hour
Shift Time:
- Monday to Friday
- 08:00AM-18:00PM
