Maintenance Engineer
Location: Swindon, Wiltshire
Salary Range: £40,000 to £45,000 per annum (approx. £770 to £865 per week based on 40 hours)
Hours: 40 hours per week (6:00 am to 2:00 pm, Monday to Friday)
Overtime: Time-and-a-half on Saturdays, double-time on Sundays

Key Responsibilities
Maintain, service, and repair production and packaging equipment to minimise downtime
Support preventative maintenance of the commercial vehicle fleet
Diagnose faults and deliver engineering improvements
Work across a range of machinery including legacy and automated systems
Uphold high health and safety standards
What We’re Looking For
Proven mechanical or multi-skilled engineering experience within manufacturing or FMCG sectors
Strong practical skills including welding/fabrication
Ability to fault-find and repair varied machinery
Basic vehicle mechanical knowledge or willingness to support fleet maintenance
Self-motivated and organised with the ability to work independently
