Event Day Staff – Ffos Las Racecourse

We are currently looking for AD-HOC event day staff to work for our client at the Ffos Las Racecourse based in Kidwelly.

Duties;

Duties can vary for the different positions we have available each shift; they have been listed below but not limited to.

Waiting Staff;

• Set up hospitality areas before gates open including laying tables, stocking stations, and checking menus.
• Welcoming guests and showing them to their tables.
• Taking food and drink orders
• Liaising with kitchen and bar teams to keep service smooth and flag allergens and dietary requests.
• Deal with guest queries or complaints calmly and escalate to a supervisor when necessary

Bar Staff;

• Set up bar before gates open including stocking fridges, changing barrels and prepping glassware.
• Service pints, wines, spirits, soft drinks and hot drinks.
• Use tills and card machines in order to take payments (training can be offered)
• Keep bar area clean and safe, clear spillages quickly and keep walkways clear.
• Replenish stock during service and report low lines to the supervisor

Kitchen Staff;

• Prep ingredients and complete basic food prep to recipes
• Support chefs during service with plating, garnishing and sending food out on time.
• Wash up, operate dishwashers safely, and keep pots, pans, and utensils available for service.
• Dispose of waste correctly and support recycling and hygiene standards.

Pay;

• £12.71 Per Hour
