Key responsibilities:
Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently on scheduled night-time routes
Follow detailed routing and scheduling to ensure timely parcel delivery and collection between hubs
Manage loading, securing, and occasional unloading of freight including pallets, cages, and containers
Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections and complete defect reports as required
Handle shipment paperwork, scan consignments accurately, and maintain communication with dispatch teams
Adhere to all relevant road safety and company policies to ensure compliance and safety
What we’re looking for:
Valid HGV Class 1 licence with a clean driving record
Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar heavy goods driving role
Ability to work night shifts consistently and reliably
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail for managing freight and documentation
Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude
