Job Title: Parcel Sortation Operative
Location: Maidstone, Kent
Salary: Competitive Hourly Rate
Working Days: 5 out of 7 days, including weekends
Shift: 1:30 am to 9:30 am (Early Morning Shift)

About the Role
This full-time position offers a great opportunity to work in a dynamic warehouse environment, focusing on parcel sortation, scanning, and loading/unloading lorries for the Tilbury branch. Your responsibilities will ensure that parcels are processed accurately and efficiently to meet the demands of our client’s distribution network.
Key Responsibilities
Parcel Sortation: Accurately sort parcels based on destination codes and prepare them for dispatch. Your vigilance and precision will ensure timely deliveries and maintain the high standards our client is known for.
Scanning: Utilize advanced scanning equipment to track parcels, ensuring accurate entry of data into the system. Your expertise in scanning technology will be crucial in maintaining the integrity of parcel information.
Loading and Unloading Lorries: Assist in the careful loading and unloading of parcels from delivery vehicles. Your role will involve strategic placement within the lorries to optimize space and ensure safe transport.
Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean and orderly workspace by sweeping, removing debris, and adhering to waste disposal protocols. A tidy environment enhances operational efficiency and safety.
Health and Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Promptly report any hazards or near-misses to maintain a safe workplace for all team members.
