Container logistics specialist KBC is taking delivery of 51 Box Liner FS10 skeletal trailers from Krone Trailer UK, to support the company during a period of rapid expansion. The new container carriers, added to a further consignment currently on order, will grow the KBC Krone fleet to 160.
David Ashford, company director and transport and compliance manager at KBC Logistics, said: “Our business has grown quite rapidly, so we ordered these trailers to support that expansion and future-proof our fleet. The service is excellent from Krone UK, and everything arrived on time, it was a very smooth process from start to finish.”
Allan McKee, area sales manager for Krone UK, said: “We have rapidly grown our business with KBC Logistics to the point that they now have a significant number of Krone Box Liners in their fleet. Repeat business like this underlines the confidence our customers have in the reliability and quality of the Krone skeletal trailers.”
Founded in 2008, KBC transports ambient and chilled containerised goods from ports to regional distribution centres. KBC operates a fleet of more than 300 vehicles from four locations, with depots in Purfleet in Essex, Killingholme in Lincolnshire, Southampton, and London Gateway.
