Plans approved for new Kia dealership

Planners have given the go-ahead for construction of a new Kia dealership near to a Starbucks and Travelodge on the A16 in Lincolnshire.

The car sales site will be developed by WCO Properties at Wyberton, near Boston, and its planning application states that the Kia dealership would “continue their growth and investment in Lincolnshire”.

Currently Drayton Motors Kia Boston, part of RJTK Group, operates from a large showroom at Swineshead, some five miles away from the new location, which is part of a broader mixed use development scheme known as The Quadrant which includes housing, food outlets and a football stadium.

Planners were told the development is expected to create new jobs locally through both its construction and when the business begins trading.

The design aim is to create a modern, sympathetic and exciting addition to the local area with a combination of high quality design and materials, taking reference from the surrounding developments, according to the planning application.
