What you’ll be doing:
- Safely operating an HGV Class 1 vehicle to deliver stock to stores and depots
- Loading and unloading goods as required, ensuring accuracy and care
- Conducting daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects
- Managing delivery schedules and routes efficiently to meet deadlines
- Maintaining compliance with all driving, safety and company policies
- Communicating effectively with depot and store teams to resolve issues promptly
- Keeping accurate delivery and vehicle records
What we’re looking for:
- Valid UK HGV Class 1 licence with CPC and digital tachograph card
- Proven experience driving Class 1 vehicles, preferably in retail or grocery deliveries
- Excellent knowledge of the Chepstow area and surrounding routes
- Strong focus on safety, punctuality and professionalism
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work day or night shifts and full or part-time hours
