We are currently looking for HGV 1 drivers that are looking for not only a competitively paid job, but those that also value work life balance.
Offering a range of shift options, a Monday to Thursday working pattern with only occasional Fridays, and no loading or unloading responsibilities—allowing you to focus on driving. Requirements;
- Valid LGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
- License: no more than 6 penalty points.
- Valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC).
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous experience in a similar driving role, delivering a professional and customer-focused service.
Daily Duties Include But Not Limited Too;
- Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles in accordance with all legal and company requirements.
- Supervise the loading of vehicles to ensure goods are securely loaded and protected from damage.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, respecting customer property and consulting with customers or management where necessary.
- Check and confirm deliveries with customers, obtaining signatures and completing all required documentation.
- Use company-issued technology (e.g. tablets) as part of daily operations.
