Aligra, recruiting on behalf of our esteemed client, is seeking skilled individuals to join their dynamic team as Cable/Wire Assembly Operators in Westbury. If you’ve got a key eye for detail and good dexterity this role could be just what you’re looking for!

Key Responsibilities:

Precision Assembly: As a Cable/Wire Assembly Operator, you’ll be responsible for the precise assembly of cables and wires. Your tasks will include cutting, stripping, crimping, and soldering components with attention to detail to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections of assembled products to verify quality and compliance with specifications. Identify any defects or discrepancies and take corrective action promptly to maintain product integrity.
Documentation and Reporting: Accurately complete all necessary paperwork, including production logs and quality checklists. Maintain comprehensive records of completed tasks.
Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Report any incidents or unsafe conditions to maintain a proactive safety culture.
Team Collaboration: Work independently and collaboratively within a team to achieve production targets. Demonstrate flexibility and a positive attitude to contribute to a cohesive work environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

Good Dexterity: Essential for handling small components and performing intricate assembly tasks.
Strong Communication Skills: Good spoken English is essential for understanding instructions and communicating effectively with team members.
Experience Beneficial: Prior experience in cable/wire assembly is advantageous, although full training will be provided to the right candidate so not a necessity.
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail is crucial to ensure the quality and precision of assembled products.
Adaptability and Reliability: Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities, demonstrating reliability in meeting deadlines and production goals.

Shifts & Pay:

Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00 – 16:45, Friday 08:00 – 12:30.
Pay: £12.21 per hour.
