Job Title: Warehouse Team Leader
Hours: Shifts: 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm (rotating shifts)
Salary: £28,000 to £31,000

Job Overview:
The Warehouse Team Leader oversees daily warehouse operations, ensuring smooth workflows in picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory management. Key responsibilities include team leadership, operational efficiency, inventory management, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Supervision: Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, ensure proper training, and assign tasks based on business needs.
Operational Efficiency: Oversee warehouse processes, prioritise tasks to meet production and dispatch deadlines, and monitor KPIs such as order accuracy and delivery timelines.
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels through cycle counts and audits, ensuring proper storage and labelling, and resolving discrepancies.
Health & Safety: Ensure all operations meet safety standards, conduct safety audits, and provide ongoing staff training.
Communication & Coordination: Serve as the main point of contact for team escalations, collaborate with other departments, and attend meetings to discuss performance and improvements.
Quality Control: Ensure customer requirements are met for all shipments, monitor the quality of goods, and implement continuous improvement practices.
Reporting: Maintain records of performance metrics, submit reports to management, and use warehouse management software to track inventory.

Communication: Strong skills for team coordination and reporting.
Problem-Solving: Quickly resolve operational issues.
Time Management: Efficient handling of multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Technical Skills: Familiarity with WMS, inventory software, and basic office tools.
Health & Safety: Knowledge of workplace safety regulations.
