Key responsibilities:
- Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles on multidrop curtainside deliveries during night shifts
- Efficiently load and unload pallets using tail lifts, ensuring careful handling of goods
- Complete 2-3 delivery runs per shift, maintaining punctuality and high standards of customer service
- Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Keep accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with the transport team
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety, driving regulations, and company policies
What we’re looking for:
- Valid HGV Class 1 licence with current Driver CPC
- Proven experience with multidrop curtainside deliveries, pallet handling, and tail lift operation
- Good knowledge of the Reading, Swindon, and Slough areas is advantageous
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused with excellent customer service skills
