We are currently working with a major national waste management company, whose site is based in Derby (DE24). The site are recruiting for a temporary van driver, initially for an 8 week project, however this is likely to be extended.
We are recruiting for candidates who possess a full driving licence, and who are looking for an exciting temp to perm opportunity within a company which prides itself on its excellent training and progression scheme.
You will be tasked with the safe and efficient delivery and collection of recycling and waste bins. It will be a mix of short and longer runs, so no two days will be the same. You may also be tasked with site clearances.
There will be some heavy lifting included. A sound basic geographical knowledge would be advantageous.
The ideal candidate will;
- Have a full UK driving licence
- Have excellent geographical knowledge
- Have no more than 6 points on the licence
- Have at LEAST 2 years driving experience
- Have had some manual handling experience
Shifts & Pay
The job will entail working Monday to Friday, 07:00 starts, finishing at around 17:00.
£13.25 per hour
